Video check-in & ID verification

Italian law requires us to register every guest with the Police (Questura) via the official Alloggiati Web portal. During the live video check-in we briefly view your ID document on screen. Nothing is recorded: no images of you or your document are stored by us. Only the legally required data (name, document type and number) is transmitted to the authorities. No facial-recognition technology is used.

What the guide stores in your browser

All of this lives only on your device (browser localStorage). It is never sent to a server, contains no account and no tracking identity, and disappears if you clear your browser data.

LuxIA — the AI concierge

When you chat with LuxIA, your messages are processed by an AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate the answer. Chat history is kept only inside your browser session and is not used to identify you. Please don't type personal data such as document numbers into the chat — it's never needed.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages of the guide are useful (anonymous, aggregated usage data). We do not build personal profiles and we do not sell or share data with advertisers.

External links

The guide links to museums, restaurants and services across Rome. Their websites have their own privacy policies — we are not responsible for their practices.

Your rights & contact

For any question about your data — including access or deletion requests under the GDPR — write to luxpiramide@gmail.com. We answer personally, usually within a couple of days.
